Salem State's occupational therapy department is fully accredited by the  (ACOTE), the accrediting body of the (AOTA). Enrolling in an accredited program provides our students two primary assurances:

• Our program is adherent to strict ACOTE standards
• Our continued commitment to improve program standards

Accreditation also benefits potential employers, knowing our graduates have met or exceeded industry standards. In fact, a degree from an accredited institution can often be a requirement for employment.
